Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. Sant Sabo's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 8th minute of play. Mazuste Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play forced F.C. Sant Sabo's goalkeeper Cláudio-André Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, F.C. Sant Sabo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Abraham Alguacil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cláudio-André Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play forced F.C. Sant Sabo's goalkeeper Cláudio-André Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Dagora kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mazuste Flores took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Alguacil in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio-André Taffarel saved F.C. Sant Sabo from getting behind. Mazuste Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Mazuste Flores took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Panama's Abraham Alguacil in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Sant Sabo's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio-André Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazuste Flores in the 53rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio-André Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Tomas Berganza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Mazuste Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sant Sabo's Melquiades Lizar. But to his dismay, Melquiades Lizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 68th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, F.C. Sant Sabo's Raúl Dagora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Sant Sabo reached it. After 70 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio-André Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 81st minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. F.C. Sant Sabo's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 86th minute of play. Cláudio-André Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 88th minute. Roberto Mata hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. F.C. Sant Sabo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
