ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 11th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after ZAFIRO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led to Peru's Milagros Fraga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 29th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced ZAFIRO FC's goalkeeper Armando Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Ponta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Song Qian. Armando Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Marco Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Pero in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 69th minute. Marco Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere.
