Ludwig Müntefering kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 0-1 came in the 13th minute when Jaime Pardo all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Kees Krummwiede. 16 minutes into the match, Moritz Riemer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 1-1. Moritz Riemer struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THB Herrenalb. Moritz Riemer took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, THB Herrenalb's Ignatius Tilmann got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the THB Herrenalb defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kees Krummwiede. The THB Herrenalb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kees Krummwiede should have stopped the shot. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kees Krummwiede having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 36th minute. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. THB Herrenalb's Lutz Holtzmann was substituted for Moritz Riemer. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lutz Holtzmann made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Curt Nickel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THB Herrenalb and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THB Herrenalb the free kick. The referee ignored THB Herrenalb's protests and gave Ludwig Müntefering a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Holtzmann in the 90th minute of the match.
