Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Vieira in the 5th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Dínamo São Paulo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dínamo São Paulo's Diguinho Toledo did a great save. Andreas Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Yan Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Vieira's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Dínamo São Paulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Ronaldinho Gaúcho shot from long distance in the 40th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Vieira went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 49 minutes into the game, Dínamo São Paulo's Ronaldinho Gaúcho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yan Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Dínamo São Paulo's Zigmas Duseika. But to his dismay, Zigmas Duseika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 俞威凌 in the 58 minute of the game. Laurent Lanen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diguinho Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Joshua Secada had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Joshua Secada. Laurent Lanen kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmas Duseika in the 83rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmas Duseika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dínamo São Paulo booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 87th minute. André Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Dínamo São Paulo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
