After a rather tough play, SuRpRiSe's Barnaba Knopek got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santa Jøker in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Jøker in the 7th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Santa Jøker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santa Jøker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Santa Jøker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Santa Jøker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuRpRiSe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Santa Jøker struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuRpRiSe. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to SuRpRiSe getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jerzy Seliga hit a great ball. Hubert Kostka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SuRpRiSe's Hubert Kostka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santa Jøker went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. 42 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's Santa Jøker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute SuRpRiSe were awarded a corner. Jerzy Seliga went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 46th minute, Santa Jøker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

SuRpRiSe's Hubert Kostka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save SuRpRiSe from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santa Jøker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Santa Jøker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santa Jøker, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Jøker in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Santa Jøker came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santa Jøker in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SuRpRiSe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
