USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tonio Bergada. In the 23rd minute Luca Lechințan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Eléctricos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Tonio Bergada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eléctricos F.C.'s Kong Zhi Wei got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sam Campbell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tonio Bergada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Khalid Parry fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tonio Bergada, passed just outside the right post. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
