Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when İbrahim Volkan took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Stefanos Terzopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Esmeraldas S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefanos Terzopoulos couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İbrahim Volkan in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Volkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Volkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 14th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Stefanos Terzopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 17thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İbrahim Volkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when İbrahim Volkan sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. 28 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 35th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Damian Maftei sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Aguinaga Nebot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 52nd minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aguinaga Nebot quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Aguinaga Nebot managed to make a qualified save. Esmeraldas S.C.'s players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 64th minute of the match. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stefanos Terzopoulos in the 69 minute of the game. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Ghitã Fratea with Stefanos Terzopoulos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines. But to his dismay, Martinez Cines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Celso Villamediana's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Villamediana helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esmeraldas S.C.! Esmeraldas S.C.:s Aguinaga Nebot showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Mastache:s penalty. Aguinaga Nebot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Mastache went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maftei in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Esmeraldas S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinto Cubria didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aguinaga Nebot.
