Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Maftei got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 6th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İbrahim Volkan went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Villamediana in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aguinaga Nebot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The attack was good, but when Abram Sarmiento in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 21 minutes into the match, Santino Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santino Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Damian Maftei came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Stefanos Terzopoulos sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Damian Maftei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Damian Maftei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Volkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-2 after 42 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martinez Cines in the 51st minute of the match. İbrahim Volkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Maftei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Celso Villamediana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Kevin Mastache fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Aguinaga Nebot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aguinaga Nebot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Damian Maftei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. Torsti Puistola tried in the game's 97th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Aguinaga Nebot. An annoying self made goal, 4-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
