Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mihăiţă Afloarei started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 played minutes, Didi Fútbol Club's Jairo Borizar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Didi Fútbol Club reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Oscar Natos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Oscar Natos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Oscar Natos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jairo Borizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Didi Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Borizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Borizar in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Natoss short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Didi Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Ordax didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Arriaga in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Arriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Borizar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Didi Fútbol Club. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Natos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Vicastillo's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Vicastillo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Didi Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Miguel Vicastillo hit a great ball. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. When Mihăiţă Afloarei came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Didi Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Afloarei couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sergio Romero in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute Tomas Illescas ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Sergio Romero. 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Borizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Sergio Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihăiţă Afloarei's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sergio Romero in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Oscar Natos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Natos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Didi Fútbol Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
