Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Snaza in the 5th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Lech having to interfere. Alfred Babicki kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Piotr Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Alfred Babicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. Maciej Bartelak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patryk Snaza in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, Maciej Bartelak lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Babicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Bartelak was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piotr Lech made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Kon to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Lech having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Kostrzewa. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Lech came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Lech came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Babicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Alfred Babicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Irons Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Babicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because The Irons Chorzów had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
