Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Kruuse in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro da Silveira who took care of the corner kick. Mehdi Brasselet made a great header on S.C. Corinthians Paulista's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 14th minute, Johannes Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fırat Aytekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of the match. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 19th minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Kruuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fırat Aytekin saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Johannes Kruuse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Johannes Kruuse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Ciro da Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin. Fırat Aytekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, Kevin Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fırat Aytekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. S.C. Corinthians Paulista made a substitution. Rafinha Orange replaced Edgard de Lima. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Fırat Aytekin was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Abram Secada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abram Secada really showed his touch with that goal: 5-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Evandro Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. S.C. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro da Silveira in the 94th minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
