Julio Chicote's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon McChoiter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Duncan Scotland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Simon McChoiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron McPhedran hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Fernandino got free with Simon McChoiter in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon McChoiter having to interfere. Liam Docherty was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pure dead brilliant team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bolivia a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mario Fernandino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pure dead brilliant team's Simon McChoiter. 1-0. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Pure dead brilliant team's Aaron McPhedran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 78th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig made a precise shot to the right of Simon McChoiter. Pure dead brilliant team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pure dead brilliant team's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon McChoiter came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pure dead brilliant team getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Max McIvor hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Max McIvor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pure dead brilliant team's Simon McChoiter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pure dead brilliant team's Simon McChoiter. Simon McChoiter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Bolivia were the better team. Bolivia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
