An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Andersson in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Stefan Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pär Odén sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Idrottsklubben -03 were awarded a corner. William Enström went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Idrottsklubben -03's corner William Enström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Kristian Törnqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pär Odén got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Pär Odén dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Pär Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Idrottsklubben -03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Odén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristian Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Forssell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, William Enström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Ahlrot's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Ahlrot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Valentin Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Odén came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by Erling Falkrantz. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Kristian Törnqvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 65 minutes into the match, Stefan Andersson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Idrottsklubben -03's Herman Örtendahl was substituted for Erling Falkrantz. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Andersson in the 72nd minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kristian Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Pär Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Idrottsklubben -03 from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristian Törnqvist. The goal made the score 2-1. Idrottsklubben -03 made a substitution. Lucas Hääger replaced Fred Salkvist. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Idrottsklubben -03 had won after a very even match.
