Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Peru booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When 马皓延 fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Corinthians Paulista's protests and gave 马皓延 a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Johannes Kruuse sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin. Fırat Aytekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fırat Aytekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fırat Aytekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Kruuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Johannes Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by 马皓延. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Johannes Kruuse made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fırat Aytekin made a huge save. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 56th minute of play. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kruuse in the 64th minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Evandro Trancoso was substituted for Johannes Kruuse. The supporters of Peru booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Evandro Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fırat Aytekin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute, Júnior Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Trancoso came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than S.C. Corinthians Paulista and deserved their victory. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
