Gary Caddell's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gary Caddell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pure dead brilliant team getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gary Caddell hit a great ball. Mario Fernandino took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon McChoiter. Simon McChoiter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Samuel McCaskill came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pure dead brilliant team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel McCaskill couldn't finish the play. Aaron McPhedran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregor Ayson in the 38 minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Ferrant was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Simon McChoiter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Fernandino in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Douglas Will hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Pure dead brilliant team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Aaron McPhedran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gary Caddell in the 81st minute. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
