Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Jerônimo Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Jerônimo Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Mangueira in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Júbilo Iwata got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chico Mendonça ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Júbilo Iwata's corner Chico Mendonça fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Giovanni Pena managed to make a qualified save. Júbilo Iwata's players were relieved. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Giovanni Pena made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Costa got free with Giovanni Pena in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandro de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Mangueira in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Velasco in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Júbilo Iwata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Vargas in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Vargas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Giovanni Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Júbilo Iwata players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Júbilo Iwata booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Donato Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jerônimo Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Jerônimo Mangueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Giovanni Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Júbilo Iwata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
