Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Torehan in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nafiz Revis in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alp Torehan went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Güvenç Taşan in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Baydar in the 77th minute of play. Güvenç Taşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Taşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Mancebo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hatayspor were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
