Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Armindo Amado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Hârlab didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Piara Tittarelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Amado in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Raphael in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Armindo Amado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reconquistense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piara Tittarelli came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli. Piara Tittarelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Seme in the 44th minute of play. Reconquistense FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Alfonso took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Alfonso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

50 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Amado came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armindo Amado in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Piara Tittarelli could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piara Tittarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Amado, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 75th minute of play. With his leg Piara Tittarelli managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Ecuador's Luis Andino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Armindo Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reconquistense FC's Gustavo Ferran was substituted for Augusto Alfonso. Reconquistense FC's Jan Ahlqvist was substituted for Armindo Amado. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Piara Tittarelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Ahlqvist in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Jan Ahlqvist made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gustavo Ferran hit a great ball. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Reconquistense FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
