Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. In the 6th play minute Beckett Costello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. Banvan Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Prunty in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beckett Costello in the 28th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Banvan Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bil McPhilip in the 37th minute of play. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beckett Costello in the 38th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beckett Costello was slow to take the kick. During this time St. James Gate F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 41 minutes of play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Bil McPhilip made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roland Prunty showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. Banvan Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Bil McPhilip made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beckett Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Bil McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Prunty in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes St. James Gate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bivadas Myler. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Beckett Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. James Gate F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Beckett Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Banvan Duggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
