After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Oto Jágr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Oto Jágr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soběslav's Clemente Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play.

Soběslav's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Dante having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Clemente Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Dante made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Oto Jágr kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Clemente Dante in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clemente Dante, 1-5.
