Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Naike kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Santos Fonda got a free kick in the 8th minute. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Roland. 27 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Elpidio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Vitin. Vélez Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Guido Luzaide took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Naike in the 44th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Roland in the 53rd minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Elpidio Vitin made a huge save. After 56 minutes Vélez Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Vélez Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. 60 minutes into the game, Cristian Naike cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Santos Fonda. In the 66th minute Nicolas Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Cristian Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. 72 minutes into the game, Celedonio Eriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vélez Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 78th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Roland in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 88th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Pascual Carballar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Guido Luzaide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Guido Luzaide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vélez Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
