Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Antonio Alzamendi made the kick off and thus started the match. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Antonio Alzamendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phillip Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saco FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Peter-Jan De Brouwer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phillip Glerum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Resentvig in the 28th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Alzamendi got free with Julio Vera in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Arrigo Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phillip Glerum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Antonio Alzamendi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Saco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Alzamendi couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Resentvig in the 54th minute of play. After 66 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Dhaussy who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Saco FC. Chris Dhaussy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 3-1. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Antonio Alzamendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Phillip Glerum threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Dhaussy was slow to take the kick. During this time Saco FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Chris Dhaussy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Phillip Glerum made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 98th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Saco FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
