When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Doğuş Sidar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cihangir Başkurt. Cihangir Başkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex De Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Cihangir Başkurt. Cihangir Başkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cihangir Başkurt. The goal made the score 0-5. 55 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cihangir Başkurt. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 61st minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cihangir Başkurt. Cihangir Başkurt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After 65 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Zeynel Atabek. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cihangir Başkurt in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Cihangir Başkurt. Cihangir Başkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Sidar in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes in the game, Luca Zorita dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal.
