Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Celso Eiró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Eirós short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Rebelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Rebelo in the 20th minute of play. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by GD Almargense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Claudemiro Tristão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Eiró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Rebelo in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adérito Pinheiro got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Adérito Pinheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gervásio Viana in the 38 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gervásio Viana in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. In the 43rd minute, Gervásio Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adérito Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Eiró stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Rebelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GD Almargense fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when GD Almargense's Celso Eiró looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares was substituted for Benedito Rebelo. Marco Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alexandre Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarco Patrício, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Eanes did an outstanding performance 74 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Jonathan Ferrant in the goal. Alexandre Eanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Alexandre Eanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Alexandre Eanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes, Carlos Vides made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When the referee ended the match the GD Almargense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
