Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Lázaro Seabra got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Micael Torcato in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Igor Matanović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Matanović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Micael Torcato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Matanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Micael Torcato got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micael Torcato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Micael Torcato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Micael Torcato in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Micael Torcato. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Micael Torcato got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Micael Torcato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Rodríguez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Micael Torcato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micael Torcato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Baltasar Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baltasar Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Micael Torcato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 64th minute, Luís Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 70th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Micael Torcato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GD Almargense's Micael Torcato. Micael Torcato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the GD Almargense defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Micael Torcato. The GD Almargense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Micael Torcato should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Micael Torcato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Almargense's goalkeeper Micael Torcato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lázaro Seabra hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Torcato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Micael Torcato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Baltasar Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
