Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredric Johnsson started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Filip Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Fredric Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Olof Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Fredric Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Pilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jonathan Ivarsson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Grönlands SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Ivarsson couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Pilberg. Grönlands SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Filip Pilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filip Pilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Grönlands SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Grönlands SK got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Engström. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Grönlands SK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Lövkvist. Filip Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grönlands SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filip Pilberg. The goal made the score 1-3. After 94 played minutes Grönlands SK got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Engström. Ecuador played a much better game than Grönlands SK and deserved their victory. The Grönlands SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
