Guido Manuelo made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. 24 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Robustiano Romildo. After 27 minutes, Iker Arano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Justerine & Brooks A C and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Justerine & Brooks A C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Arano to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Arano in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Buontempo in the 37th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Justerine & Brooks A C reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Malin Siswanto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Justerine & Brooks A C's supporters rose to their feet, but Malin Siswanto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
