Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Satordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Satordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cvetin Luković was slow to take the kick. During this time Elizabeth Three Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Cvetin Luković was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Satordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Ings. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Satordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Ings in the 27th minute. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Xavier Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesus Satordi quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 54th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Scholten, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Satordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 61st minute. The corner led Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig to fire away a dangerous shot which Jesus Satordi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Richard Scholten fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Paul Wilson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 98th minute. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
