After a defensive mix-up in JEMBer UTara's zone, Abram Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheng Hao Wei came out of the goal and Abram Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. JEMBer UTara's Aniol Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cheng Hao Wei made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Aniol Peña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JEMBer UTara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cheng Hao Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. 27 minutes into the match, Aniol Peña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aniol Peña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half JEMBer UTara were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafet Nesip to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cheng Hao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. JEMBer UTara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cheng Hao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 74th match minute, JEMBer UTara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sun Yi Yu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Hao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Pascual Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cheng Hao Wei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 78 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafet Nesip. Cheng Hao Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
