Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richard Scholten started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Satordi. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jesus Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Satordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Danny Ings could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Scholten in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Jesus Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Danny Ings recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Danny Ings showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Cvetin Luković who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Butler in the 62nd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Satordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Scholten in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Scholten came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jesus Satordi could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvetin Luković in the 87th minute of play. Jesus Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Cvetin Luković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Elizabeth Three Lions FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
