Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alaaddin Solskjær stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Jörgen Levander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Jörgen Levander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Fredric Hybbert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Jörgen Levander tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roni Ronaldinho was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roni Ronaldinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yin Yun Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Västberg lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th minute, one of FC Kurdistan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Kurdistan. FC Kurdistan:s Alaaddin Solskjær showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Levander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. FC Kurdistan's Emanuel Åström was substituted for Paul Falkrans. FC Kurdistan's Ubaldo Ritchie was substituted for Iwan Kasiewski. In the 67th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 68th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 76th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 89 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alaaddin Solskjær, 0-1. 94 minutes into the game, Lars Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Peru players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Kurdistan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
