Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Shu Gang in the 4th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wei Shu Gang got free with Marco Day in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Alfredo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Shu Gang in the 25th minute of play. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Moore to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Lehens short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Marco Day to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lehen came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match USA got a corner. Grêmio Bulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Lehen in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Henrique Prata made a huge save. Grêmio Bulls's Romulo Lehen got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 64th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Henrique Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grêmio Bulls's Ernesto Falcão was substituted for Wei Shu Gang. Grêmio Bulls's Pedrão Prata was substituted for Romulo Lehen. Grêmio Bulls's Mauro Sena was substituted for Rowen Doherty. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grêmio Bulls's goalie and right to Jenson Smith. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grêmio Bulls's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Celso Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sena came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Prata in the 78th minute of play. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 80th minute Grêmio Bulls were awarded a corner. Sebastião Tróia went to the cornerflag to take it. After 82 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Tróia. With a little luck, Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Prata was a little too slow when Khalid Parry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-1. After some careless play in the USA defense, Mauro Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot.
