Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomislav Strahija, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomislav Strahija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute Archie Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archie Greenwood blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Greenwood in the 35th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Greenwood in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Archie Greenwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Greenwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Kentucky Fried Wings were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Kentucky Fried Wings's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Archie Greenwood, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Tomislav Strahija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Archie Greenwood sent off a good shot on target. Archie Greenwood scored 0-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten was substituted for Archie Greenwood. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Guillermo Mariano with Tomas Illescas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Son van Basten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-5 in the 80 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Son van Basten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Son van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Kentucky Fried Wings's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Son van Basten in the 90th minute. After 94 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Kentucky Fried Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
