An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 5th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Su Peng Jian. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Su Peng Jian should have stopped the shot. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Su Peng Jian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Huang Gang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Vitaliy van der Aa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Su Peng Jian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Francisco Carballar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian did a great save. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Su Peng Jian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Fontirroig. Cosimo Staniscia replaced Vitaliy van der Aa. 88 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Su Peng Jian. GrassNuts FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Huang Gang got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bernt Finnman. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Staniscia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GrassNuts FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
