Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Hubbard in the 5th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Hockley AFC's Joseph Hubbard. But to his dismay, Joseph Hubbard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Jason Seagrave left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Lineker. Fred Lineker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Hockley AFC's Matty Gerrard got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Joseph Hubbard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a little luck, Hockley AFC's Fred Lineker got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Joseph Hubbard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When Jason Seagrave came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hockley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jason Seagrave couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xaverius Xavier during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xaverius Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hockley AFC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Lineker came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Seagrave made a kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fred Lineker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xaverius Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jason Seagrave struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hockley AFC. In the 62nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fred Lineker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Hockley AFC's Jason Seagrave fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matty Gerrard. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trevor Lyons who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jason Seagrave sent off a good shot on target. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Hubbard in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xaverius Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
