Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jouni Markkula to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Magnusson in the 17th minute. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play. Su Peng Jian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mexico booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were furious when Lorenzo Cazalla was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kent Stenman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's Roger Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Kent Stenman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Kent Stenman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lautaro Mancebo to make the kick off. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Su Peng Jian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huang Gang's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huang Gang helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Huang Gang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 61st minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Finnman in the 62nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Su Peng Jian could save by the left post. In the 69th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Facundo Cadaval heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Su Peng Jian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GrassNuts FC's Cosimo Staniscia was substituted for Vitaliy van der Aa. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Cosimo Staniscia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The GrassNuts FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
