The referee ignored GrassNuts FC's protests and gave Kent Stenman a yellow card for diving instead. Kent Stenman kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Su Peng Jian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitaliy van der Aa to make the kick off. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GrassNuts FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Su Peng Jian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the game, Vitaliy van der Aa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
