None of the them looked very eager to play. 庄桦响 started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯亚瑟王King Arthur F.C's goalkeeper 叶义响 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯亚瑟王King Arthur F.C's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 叶义响 came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The excitement rose when Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano after 45 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for ≮王者归来≯亚瑟王King Arthur F.C's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯亚瑟王King Arthur F.C's 麦辰震 got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute.
