Nenko Reza made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After 17 minutes of play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. 24 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Kıraç Uskan succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıraç Uskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Villaverde Celeste Clube were awarded a corner. Guo Ao went to the cornerflag to take it. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makaay in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolai Otamendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Guo Ao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiago Pliego. Chile's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kıraç Uskan in the 45th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 48th minute of play.

With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Roy Makaay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attentive Edmund Wawrukiewicz managed to snatch the ball when Jose Manzanedo made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nenko Reza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kıraç Uskan succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3.
