Modesto Fernendo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Internet XAire's Nacho Villarroel was substituted for Modesto Fernendo. Internet XAire's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Internet XAire's Feliks Osowski did a great save. Adam Bareiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Palban to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Internet XAire's goalkeeper Feliks Osowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliks Osowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Osowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Carballar's late challenge caught a Internet XAire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internet XAire would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
