The corner ended in Modesto Fernendo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Victorio Perico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Nestor Garaile in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Victorio Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Bareiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Adam Bareiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Adam Bareiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Victorio Perico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Garaile during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Nestor Garaile got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Adam Bareiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Adam Bareiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Feliks Osowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Adam Bareiro came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Internet XAire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Bareiro couldn't finish the play. Internet XAire's Nacho Villarroel was substituted for Modesto Fernendo. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliks Osowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. Octavio Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Feliks Osowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Villarroel in the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Nuno in the 72nd minute of play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, Victorio Perico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Perico in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliks Osowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th of the match, Patricio Costa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Feliks Osowski got in the way and made a wonderful save. Venezuela's Jose Correa got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Jose Correa off the ground. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 92nd minute Victorio Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
