Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Greenwood in the 12th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Greenwood in the 17th minute of play. Jose Sanz made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kentucky Fried Wings's Hugh Branston. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Statham in the 27th minute of the match. Jonny Fingers hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kentucky Fried Wings's Hugh Branston. 35 minutes into the match, Archie Greenwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Greenwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Greenwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eric Statham kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Archie Greenwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Archie Greenwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kentucky Fried Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Greenwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Archie Greenwood struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kentucky Fried Wings. Jose Sanz made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kentucky Fried Wings's Hugh Branston. Grant Tindale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Archie Greenwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Archie Greenwood ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Kentucky Fried Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Tomislav Strahija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Greenwood blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Kentucky Fried Wings made a substitution. Mao Hong Kuan replaced Grant Tindale. After 84 minutes, Jose Sanz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Kentucky Fried Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Son van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kentucky Fried Wings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
