Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kiljan Valbergsson made the kick off which started today's match. When Kiljan Valbergsson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Crystals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiljan Valbergsson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Kiljan Valbergsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiljan Valbergsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Henrý Reimarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Crystals's goalkeeper Sváfnir Hásteinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Jóann Sindrason scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jóann Sindrason in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Sváfnir Hásteinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Jóann Sindrason got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jóann Sindrason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Kiljan Valbergsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jóann Sindrason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jóann Sindrason's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 74 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sváfnir Hásteinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crystals the free kick. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Jóann Sindrason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Jóann Sindrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crystals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jóann Sindrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrý Reimarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Sváfnir Hásteinsson. Crystals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Crystals's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
