Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 3rd minute of play forced CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Toader Bran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CRAIOVA JUNIOR defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toader Bran. The CRAIOVA JUNIOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toader Bran should have stopped the shot. If Lucrețiu Bobei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Sever Pâslaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 14th minute, Lucrețiu Bobei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Sever Pâslaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucrețiu Bobei. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Pâslaru in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRAIOVA JUNIOR's Toader Bran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lucrețiu Bobei sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sever Logofătu was slow to take the kick. During this time CRAIOVA JUNIOR's players had a chance to rest. 44 minutes into the game, Traian Măgureanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 44 minutes into the match, CRAIOVA JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Toader Bran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Lucrețiu Bobei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucrețiu Bobei really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lucrețiu Bobei came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the CRAIOVA JUNIOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Bobei couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Bobei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
