Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Den Newland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Barr Point were awarded a corner. CJ Street went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Den Newland came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Barr Point fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Den Newland couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Den Newland got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CJ Street's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute of the match Barr Point got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. CJ Street ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Owen Welsh drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Street made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Barr Point's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jude Bonham came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jude Bonham made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Street in the 63rd minute of play. Jude Bonham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 65th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jude Bonham came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Barr Point's Jude Bonham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Barr Point from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barr Point the free kick. In the 86th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CJ Street kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. When Camilo Gaos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barr Point fully deserved thier win.
