Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Gasteiz Latorre sent off a good shot on target. Justino Bastian made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gasteiz Latorre immediately put the ball in play. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Gasteiz Latorre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Avellana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gasteiz Latorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremy Avellana came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Del Manfredi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Guto Pirani got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Justino Bastian made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jeremy Avellana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Gasteiz Latorre kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jeremy Avellana made a huge save. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jeremy Avellana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Anthon Öberg replaced Gasteiz Latorre. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Osvaldo Lavandera replaced Samuel Vegas. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 65th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Avellana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Peru booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Del Manfredi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Anthon Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Anthon Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Justino Bastian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 82 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Justino Bastian. Anthon Öberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Öberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Anthon Öberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
