Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Basajaun in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Basajaun in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Freddy Basajaun. But to his dismay, Freddy Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Freddy Basajaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Freddy Basajaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Basajaun went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Basajaun in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Basajaun in the 36th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Basajaun in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Joinville S.German-FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Velasco. In the 47th minute, Freddy Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Joinville S.German-FSCMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Basajaun. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Basajaun went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Guillermo Mariano with Tomas Illescas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Freddy Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Joinville S.German-FSCMZ:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Enrique Loureiro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Basajaun in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Freddy Basajaun came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Vladimir Albuquerque was substituted for Freddy Basajaun. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Vladimir Albuquerque slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-6 after 84 minutes of play. Sandro Aguiar's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Loureiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Vladimir Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimir Albuquerque slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 97th minute.
