Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gasteiz Latorre started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gasteiz Latorre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gasteiz Latorre sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Celso Trasloseros got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Avellana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Guto Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Guto Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Anthon Öberg replaced Gasteiz Latorre. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Guto Pirani hit a great ball. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Guto Pirani got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 84 minutes into the game, Eliseo Alcocer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Justino Bastian quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Avellana having to interfere. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru played a much better game than Club Dep. Soc. Rodo and deserved their victory. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
