Fryderyk Zalipski scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gustaw Sobania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 18th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Agustín Saelices scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaw Sobania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Ziemowit Wnukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gustaw Sobania firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Srebrny Grom DK's Jaroslaw Kowalski got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gustaw Sobania was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Srebrny Grom DK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Sobania came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziemowit Wnukowski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Gustaw Sobania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute of the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gustaw Sobania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Srebrny Grom DK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 4-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaw Sobania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77 played minutes Srebrny Grom DK got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Kowalski. After 81 minutes of play Srebrny Grom DK's Jaroslaw Kowalski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jaroslaw Kowalski hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Gustaw Sobania was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Srebrny Grom DK defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Sobania. The Srebrny Grom DK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Sobania should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gustaw Sobania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
