In the 41st minute Roberto Ocampo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ming Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Roberto Ocampo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yu Ming Nan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 46th minute, SC Duisburg 2012's Ab Surdo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Duisburg 2012 the free kick. After 90 minutes of play, SC Duisburg 2012's Carmine Berardi made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Duisburg 2012 had won after a very even match.
